Geez, this room! We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve laughed so hard we cried! If there is one thing I have learned through our friendship, it is that Jenny, you, are the most loving, giving, beautiful soul. Emotional is a wonderful adjective for you.
You love, play, cry, laugh, pray, fully . . . not halfway, but with all that you have! Jenny Hills Kraus, where would I be without you? I remember being introduced to you at a playdate at Allison’s when CC and MC were so young. You were so smart and funny, I instantly was drawn to you. Fast forward to a Readiness Orientation for parents and I was like, hey, there’s Jenny Kraus, yay! Little did I know the gift I was going to receive.
We became partners in crime with the best little group of Daisy Scouts. Just some fun with our precious girls, and it bonded us in a way I never expected. I beautiful way. Then Sister Pat and her “hey, how would you two like to join LPA?” Before we did Daisies together, I don’t know if I would have had the confidence to say “Yes” to that question. But somehow, you brought out the best in me. That is such a gift you have to bring out the best in those around you. You helped me grow and still do. Our friendship is one I truly treasure.
This picture also reminds me of book club. I really feel that this had a huge impact on both of us. I had never prayed, learned, and shared like that ever before. It really woke me up spiritually and I really needed that! I so enjoy spending time with you. Whether it’s a cup of coffee to just check in, a walk around the park, or a couples get together . . . I am always excited to see you. I feel very blessed to call you my friend!
