Funny -- Phil Kraus

Jen's always up for a good GIF
Funny: Jenny is very funny. Dictionary.com defines funny as:

—adjective, fun·ni·er, fun·ni·est.
  1. providing fun; causing amusement or laughter; amusing; comical: a funny remark; a funny person.
  2. attempting to amuse; facetious: Did you really mean that or were you just being funny?
  3. warranting suspicion; deceitful; underhanded: We thought there was something funny about those extra charges.
  4. Informal. insolent; impertinent: Don't get funny with me, young man!
  5. curious; strange; peculiar; odd: Her speech has a funny twang.

—noun, plural fun·nies.
  1. Informal. a funny remark or story; a joke: to make a funny.

With the clear exception of number 3 above, I think each and every one of these definitions  (if not the examples) describe Jenny well. She is always good for a slightly off-color joke or remark (with an even funnier heart-felt apology later, hoping she hasn’t offended me, as if that’s possible.)

She makes me laugh easily, but I think even more endearing, laughs easily herself. It is ALWAYS fun to spend time with her, as it seems I always leave the experience with a smile on my face.

If only every human interaction left us smiling and laughing the way she does, our world would be a much happier place!

Happy Birthday, Jenny!
(Keep the smiles coming!)

Athletic -- Jen Kraus

Not sure which Jen Kraus this is . . .

My favorite memories of Jen are from the summer we played tennis together. First of all, I had to ask several times if she kissed my godchild with that mouth of hers!!! Then the introductions to the our opponents were often hilarious because we’d have to repeat and tell how we are married to brothers. It was always fun fighting over balls and crawling on each other’s backs to put balls away, but playing at Regionals in Indianapolis was a blast! Not too shabby for a bunch of old ladies! I miss those days and hope we can get back to them soon. It’s always fun to play with someone you know so well and trust -- and let’s face it, the exact same temperament!!!

Love ya Buttercup,
