The army has seven values. One of them is selflessness. I’ve seen it at work, Jenny is one of the best I’ve seen at exhibiting it. I’ve watched as she has prioritized child after child ahead of her own personal pursuits. I don’t think turtles, fish and ducks were a childhood passion, but today they seem to be more so. The occasional “girls” trip is sanity preservation and recharges the selfless batteries so she keeps going, and going, and going!
